Glacier Ice Visit

Glacier Ice Representative, Jennifer, came out to Lambert High this week to help build excitement around our new Artic Ice drinks!  She passed out samples to students during lunch time.  Her company also gifted us these beautiful umbrellas for our courtyard!

I had the best time today giving our Lambert Culinary Class a tour of the kitchen and all the "behind the scenes" happenings at Lambert Cafe.

Love how professional they look in their culinary jackets.

ANC 2016 - San Antonio, Texas

I feel like such a blessed woman!  I received a wonderful opportunity this summer to travel to San Antonio, TX for the School Nutrition Association's Annual National Conference (ANC).  This was my first time at National Conference and my first time in San Antonio!  The city was beautiful, the food was delicious, I learned so much at the conference and just had an overall magnificent experience.  Here are some pictures from the trip:

The Riverwalk that winds through San Antonio is gorgeous!
There are restaurants, hotels and all sorts of fun shopping to do along the walk.  We took the ferry boat through the city, the guide was full of historical information and other San Antonio news.
This is a picture of me with my boss, Valerie.  She is the Food/Nutrition Director for our county and the one who made it possible for me to attend!  We had a great time exploring the city and attending conference.
