My Plate is Georgia Grown!

Today I attended a luncheon hosted by the Forsyth County chapter of Georgia Farm Bureau.  They hosted the event to showcase the importance of agriculture to our community.    To learn more about them:

Blue Ribbon School

Daves Creek Elementary School was awarded the Blue Ribbon Award this past week! 

We were honored with a visit from Dr. Evans, Forsyth County School Superintendent, and members of our Board of Education.

 

 

We were thrilled to have our picture taken with them during their visit.

National School Lunch Week!

We will celebrate National School Lunch Week the week of October 14 - 18.  We had the children vote for their favorite school lunch.  Here are the results:
